Liquor Liberty

House Majority Leader Mike Turzai put forth a cosponsorship memo announcing legislation to end the government-run liquor store monopoly.  The legislation will be officially introduced on March 4 as HB 790.

The draft bill closely reflects Gov. Corbett's proposal unveiled earlier this year.

You can watch CF's President and CEO Matt Brouillette talk about the importance of ending the government-run monopoly to offer consumers the convenience they demand in a conversation with the Triadvocate, which also offers a summary of the legislation.
